We are open! Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, our office and your next appointment will look a little different than it has in the past. We have renovated the office! Along with a new paint color you will notice the floors are now tile. This allows us to completely disinfect the floors, whereas the carpet we had in the lobby and hallways before did not allow us to do this. We have also added H13 Heppa Air filtration systems to each patient room. This eliminates 99.997% of airborne particles from the air, reducing the spread of aerosols greatly.
We are also currently seeing patients at only 50% of our capacity, this allows us to keep an empty patient room between you and any other patients at all times. This also allows a full hour between room use, which is enough time for our air filtration system to completely replace the air in the room 4 times. This ensures no aerosols generated by a previous patient will be left in the room by the time you enter.
As per the State Department of Health, you will have your temperature taken upon arrival and be asked to fill out a Covid-19 screening questionnaire. Anyone with a temperature of >100.4 F will have to reschedule. 48 hours after your appointment we will send you a text asking if you are experiencing any symptoms of a cough or fever. This is to ensure the health and safety of our staff and other patients. Also, due to our reduced schedule and 2 months of patient backlog resulting from our closure, if you fail to cancel your appointment without at least 48 hours notice, you will not be able to reschedule for 6 weeks.
